Pride & joy

Written, produced and directed by Ronan Glennane and partner Nell Greenwood in 2006. A throwback to the play of the week, a privately funded ultra low budget drama about the property crisis before the 2008 crash.

Great performances from Owen Roe and his real life partner Michele Forbes. The great Aidan Kelly, Sara James sparkles and a young Rory Keenan is great fun as the errant son.

On rough cut Irish broadcaster RTE paid for the post production and the show aired to a record 22% audience share to rave reviews. It later was nominated for the 2006 Monte Carlo TV festival.
